About Hermi

Music serves as a bridge that connects us with ourselves and those around us on a deeper and more personal level. This contributes towards strengthening relationships and enables us to address psycho-social and emotional needs in a safe, confidential, and creative space. In my therapy space I offer my clients patience, understanding, and empathy to provide ethical and dignifying care.  I have extensive experience in attending to the physical, psychological, and social needs of individuals living with a disability, a mental illness, and/or trauma, by means of the creative arts as my intervention method. My strengths lie in working with groups and individuals to better their overall mental being, finding healthy coping mechanisms, and managing and maintaining personal and professional relationships.  I enjoy working with people of all ages. No prior music skills or experience is needed to attend music therapy sessions.
